Wish You Were Here...

I love to travel. In fact it is one of the things that inspires me most. So I couldn't help but think about one of my favorite cities and how I was packing my bags heading there this time last year. NYC! David and I took in the city, wandered aimlessly, tried out new restaurants (PS if you're in the city go to Friend of a Farmer for a life-changing breakfast) and even caught a tennis match at the Open. Bon Voyage for now!

Treasure Hunt

So finding (cool) vintage stuff is not for the faint of heart. Beware of bad parts of town, no A/C, and all around general "sketchiness." David can vouch for some of the interesting places we have found cool stuff. This event coming up sounds like it could be interesting. I was recently talking to my best friend and we were talking about making it an annual tradition. She is going to be in Africa when this one goes down but I may make a loner trip and see if it's worth it. Basically it is the world's largest garage sale...stretching hundreds of miles actually.
